Talc is a
naturally occurring steatite. It is also called as French chalk, soap stone. It
comes in brilliant white and off colour. It has extremely soft soapy feeling
and the powder is very slippery.
Chemically Talc is
Magnesium Silicate: 3Mgo, 4SiO2, H2O. ]

cosmetic for its smooth silky finish.
